Kamran Shahbaz
CFO and Strategy (on sabbatical)
Kamran’s professional background is in consulting (Deloitte US and Boston Consulting Group Middle East). His work focused on strategy and operational transformations for financial institutions and government clients. Additionally, he served as General Manager of Strategy at Al Yamamah University in Saudi Arabia.
He is currently pursuing an MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He received his BA in Economics and Political Science from Davidson College, where he also served on the Board of Trustees from 2020-2024.
Kamran’s dedication to FEDAA began in childhood, when he supported fundraising efforts by performing Farsi songs for the Afghan community. He remains committed to helping Afghan students realize the Afghanistan of their dreams.
