In 2025, the Foundation selected 11 outstanding Kardan University students as FEDAA Scholars. Established as a living memorial to Dr. Abdul Kayeum, the FEDAA Scholarship carries his legacy by supporting and inspiring the next generation of Afghanistan’s leaders. 

These 7 awardees now join 23 current FEDAA Scholars, becoming part of a community of 30 that the Foundation hopes will grow to include thousands of FEDAA Scholars in the years ahead. Biographies provided by the Scholars appear below.
